试验研究证实 :氧化锌限流元件串联放电间隙能够在断路器动作之前 ,快速截断工频续流。作为配电线路中的架空绝缘电缆的过电压保护装置 ,可有效地防止雷害造成的断线、绝缘子损坏等事故 。

The test results in this paper show that ZnO arrestor unit with a series gap for transmission lines is able to cut off power frequency current quickly before the circuit breaker operate. And it is certified that the device is very useful to prevent insulated overhead line breakage and insulator damage from lightning overvoltage faults.
