摘要
六艺论是马一浮的主要学术思想。本文指出,六艺论展现出一个本源而本真的意义机制。这个意义机制所以得以兴发流行,其根据则在于"六艺之为全体"、"六艺之为大用"、"六艺之为工夫"三个性质之相互涵摄。同时,此三性质之相涵相摄,根据则在于"不易"、"变易"、"简易"之本然互构。
Ma Yi - fu, a great 20th - century master of Confucian studies, established the "Theory of the Six Arts" ( "Liu Yi Lun" ), a paradigm of Modem Confucianism. This paper focuses mainly on the detailed content of Liu Yi Lun and concludes that the Six Arts, in Ma Yi - fu' s Liu Yi Lun, are viewed as a matrix of the emergence of meaning. First, Ma concludes that the following three characteristics are constitutives of the Six Arts - the Six Arts being ontological substances as a whole ( quan - ti), the Six Arts being great functions ( da - yong), and the Six Arts being self - cultivations ( gong - fu). Second, Ma reveals that the "three - changes" ( "san - yi" ), naturally constituted by the unchanged (bu -yi), the changes (bian-yi), and the simple changes (jian- yi), make pos-sible the interdependent -formation of the previous three characteristics of the Six Arts. Finally, through the above interpretations, it can be concluded that, based on the standpoint and values of Confucianism, Liu Yi Lun presents a detailed and profound approach to solving the problem of "meaning".
