The five questions ： knowledge and value--the difference between libraries＇ spirit of science and humanis- tic spirit, the spirit of library science is the scientific attitude of seeking truth from facts, library human spirit is the the full attention to people＇s value, to remove absolutization of the value of the library science spirit , the key to both fusion- recogmition and understanding of the library scientific spirit are discussed in the article.
