我国知识产权保护对OFDI逆向技术溢出效应的影响

Research on Effect of China's Intellectual Property Rights on OFDI Reverse Technology Spillovers

对外直接投资(OFDI)是国际R&D溢出的主要渠道之一,母国知识产权保护制度是影响OFDI技术溢出效应的重要因素。运用中国1991—2010年的经济数据,实证研究了知识产权保护下的对外直接投资的逆向技术溢出效应。结果表明:对外直接投资R&D溢出能显著促进中国的技术进步,对外直接投资R&D溢出渠道是中国技术水平提升的重要途径;知识产权保护的直接效应有利于中国的技术进步;知识产权保护与国内研发的协同效应显著促进了中国的技术进步,知识产权保护与OFDI渠道R&D溢出的协同效应对中国技术进步的影响显著为负。

Outward foreign direct investment is one of the main channels of international R＆D spillovers. Intellectual property rights protection system of the home country is one of the important factors which affect the effect of OFDI technology spillovers. So this paper investisates the reverse technology spillovers effect through OFDI channel under the intellectual property rights protection using the data from 1991 to 2010 in China. The results show that： the R＆D spillovers of OFDI can significantly promote technology progress in China; the R＆D spillovers channel of OFDI is an important channel for technology improvement in China; the direct effect of intel- lectual property rights protection is conducive to the technology progress in China; the synergy effect of intellectual property rights pro- tection and domestic R＆D is significantly promoting the technology progress in China; the synergy effect of intellectual property rights protection and OFDI channel R＆D spillovers on technology process is significantly negative.
