The Pronunciation and Intonation in English Speech

为帮助高职高专学生提高英语演讲水平及英语水平，准确把握英语演讲时的语音、语调及句重音、意群等，本文通过作者多年担任学校英语演讲评委的经历，收集、整理了高职高专学生在英语演讲中所存在的语音、语调及句重音、意群等方面的问题，结合自己多年来在英语教学方面的知识经验及英美人说话时的基本规律，对这些问题进行了较为细致的分析，提出了一些中国学生英语演讲应该注意的问题的自己的见解，从而使学生能在演讲中准确、生动地表达自己的思想，以产生理想的演讲效果，提高英语演讲水平和英语学习水平。

To help the students improve the skills in English speech and their English standard, and know the pronunciation, intonation, stress and sense--group, as a judge of the English speech contest for many years, I collected many problem in pronunciation, intonation, stress and sense--group, and analysis is giv- en to these problems, according to my experience in many years＂ teaching of English, and the general rules in the speaking of foreigners. And many suggestions to these problems are put forward, so that the students can express their ideas precisely and vividly, with a very good effect, and improve their skills in English speech and English learning.
