道光朝是整个清代急剧变革的时期,其既失去了康乾盛世的繁荣,又面临重重的国内外矛盾,是清王朝迈上衰落道路的转折点。当时漕运已是社会各种势力博弈的焦点,其中官、绅、学、民之间的利益纠结与冲突使闹漕斗争呈现出纷繁复杂的局面,而统治阶级与地方政府力图通过协调不同阶层的利益,达到维护封建统治与稳定地方社会秩序的目的。

Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty is a period of drastic change.It not only lost the prosperity of the great times in Kangxi and Qianlong periods,but faced various domestic and international conflicts.Hence it is a turning point when Qing Dynasty began to decline.By that time cao transport had been the focus of various social forces and power games.The conflicts and interests of officials,gentry,students and civilians made Naocao struggle most complicated while the ruling class and the local government made every effort to maintain the feudal rule and stability of local social order by coordinating the interests of different classes.
