作为被遗漏的明珠,夏志清因未能将萧红的小说《呼兰河传》收入其《中国现代小说史》而表达了自己深深的遗憾,而《呼兰河传》经久不衰的魅力亦可从小说的音乐性、戏剧性和古典性三个方面得到阐释。
