Considering the practical conditions of the rolling stocks in China, the fault tree analysis （FTA） process and method are applied in handling the rolling stock troubles, and a case of ＂derailment of bogie＂ is taken as the top event to show how to apply the FFA technology in the rolling stock troubles.
