“他者”在注视中变异——论比较文学中的“形象”

Variation of the Other under the Gaze——On the Image in Comparative Literature

形象学作为比较文学研究的一个重要分支,研究的是某国某民族文学作品所塑造或描述的异国异族形象,它并不关注和追究这种塑造或描述的真实性、可靠性,不在乎原形象和重塑形象之间存在多大的差异,形象学关心的是作家塑造异国异民族形象时的个体和社会心理因素、文化背景因素,对本民族本国形象研究则不属于形象学研究。鉴于目前学界某些对形象学认识的模糊和混乱,本文试图通过重新解读巴柔的形象学理论,梳理形象学在比较文学领域的个性特征。

As one of important branches in comparative literature,imagologie is the study of alien images that are shaped or described in literary works.It does not concern with the authenticity or reliability of the description.It does not care about how much difference there exists between the original images and the reshaped ones either.Imagologie deals with the individual and social psychological factors and cultural background when writers shape the alien images,not the national images.In the view of the present vague and confused understanding of imagologie in academia,this paper attempts to define its characteristics by reinterpreting Bajocian＇s theory.
