语言是文化的组成部分,能体现一个民族的文化内涵。跨文化翻译之所以难,很大程度上是因为文化的差异。所以,一个合格的译者,不但要具备过硬的双语或多语能力,更要有多元文化的背景知识,对文化差异有着深刻的理解。推动文化交流,促使社会进步是翻译传播的首要任务。

Language is part of culture, and can reflect a nation＇s cultural connotation. Cross cultural translation is difficult, largely because of the difference of culture. Therefore, a qualified translator, should not only have excellent bilingual or multilingual capability, but also have more muhicultural background knowledge and a deep understanding of cultural differences. Promoting cultural exchanges and social progress is the primary task of translation communication.
