From the constitution differences of Chinese and Japanese traditional residential, this paper summarizes this difference to surrounding and spaced, order and freedom, introversion and extroversion, decoration and connotation four parts, through the research on these constitution differences, easy to grasp different spatial concept and architectural view of Chinese and Japanese two kinds of architectural cultures.
