Discussion on the Mongolian Hetuvidy

因明学是古代印度以逻辑思想为主要内容的认识理论。因明随着佛教的传入以佛教典籍的译介方式传入蒙古地区并与蒙古族文化相互渗透、相互影响,形成了有别于藏传因明和汉传因明的蒙古因明。蒙古因明属于藏传因明,它是在蒙古地区传播、发展的藏传因明。但它不完全等同于藏传因明,它是蒙古族学者结合本民族历史文化进行解读、研究的具有蒙古民族特色的因明,是藏传因明的重要组成部分或分支。

Hetuvidyā is the cognizing theory of old India whose main content is logic.Hetuvidyā was introduced to Mongolia by the translation of the classics of Buddhism.It＇s infiltrate and affect with the Mongolian culture,and come into the Mongolian Hetuvidyā,which is different from Tibetan Hetuvidyā and Han Hetuvidyā.Mongolian Hetuvidyā belongs to Tibetan Hetuvidyā,it is diffusing and developing in Mongolian area.But it isn＇t equate to Tibetan Hetuvidyā.Mongolian scholars study Hetuvidyā combined with their own history and culture.Mongolian Hetuvidyā is a kind of Hetuvidyā with Mongolian feature,and it is an important part or ramus of Tibetan Hetuvidyā.
