A Study on the Urbanization,Urban Problems and Solution in China

中国已进入快速城市化时期,2011年的城市化率超过了50%。本文首先分析了当代中国城市化的三个特点,即规模大、速度快,半城市化现象显著;城市化的区域差异显著;都市化现象已经显现,大城市群成为国家经济的核心地区。其次,从三个方面分析了中国城市问题出现的原因。针对中国城市化进程中的问题,本文从政策制定和空间策略两方面提出了两个建议,一是认为要深化改革,逐步解决半城市化的问题,二是要实施都市区和城市群发展战略,预防城市病的发生。

China has entered the period of rapid urbanization since 1990s,and the urbanization ratio of population has exceeded 50% in 2011.This paper analyses the three characteristics of urbanization of China,namely large scale of rural-urban population movement,rapid urbanization and semi-urbanization for the rural population in the cities can not obtain the formal identity of citizen;obvious regional gaps of urbanization;large city clusters have become the core areas of national economy.Then,the paper analyses the reasons cause urban problems in China from three angles.Last,the paper puts forwards two suggestions from policy-making and spatial strategy,the first is to deepen reform and resolve the semi-urbanization,the second is to implement the development strategy of metropolitan areas and city clusters,and prevent urban problems.
