Medical records are important basis in the solving of many problems and play particular roles in many fields. By analyzing the various factors that may lead to emergencies in the duplication, we put forward that the staff should be more cautious in some special circumstances of dealing disputes. With the well professional capability and responsibility, effective prevention measurements, and emphaSize the protection of their own, to meet the goal of decreasing the incidence of emergencies. In order to prevent the chain reaction of medical disputes, we should regulate the working methods of medical records duplication as well as ensure the legal rights of doctors and patients. Only in this way, can we expect the extinction of dis- putes on medical records.
