摘要
"高丽棒子"是中国人对朝鲜(韩国)人沿袭已久的蔑称。但是,对于这一称呼的历史由来,却一直缺乏学术考证。其实,通过梳理朝鲜文献《燕行录》的相关内容可知,它来源于韩文的"帮子"一词。"帮子"原本指的是明清时期朝鲜使行团中地位低微的服役者;它从一个特定的称谓演变为"高丽棒子"这一含有贬义的泛称的历史过程,反映出的是明清时期的使团接待政策所引发的朝鲜使团与沿途的中国百姓之间的矛盾。
Gaoli bangzi meaning Korean Billy is a nickname of the Korean,coined by the Chinese in a contemptuous way.Its origin has actually never been scholastically proven.By studying the Korean Collection of Travel Records to Beijing,it can be found this nickname is derived from a Korean word,meaning minor officials in the diplomatic mission sent to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The evolution of the nickname,from a minor official to the contemptuous Korean Billy,mirrors the conflicts between the Korean diplomatic mission and the Chinese people in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
