甲状腺功能亢进简称甲亢,是由多种原因引起的甲状腺激素分泌过多所致的一组内分泌疾病,多由甲状腺机能增高、分泌激素增多或血循环中甲状腺激素水平增高所导致。它是一种常见多发病,以20～40岁多见,多见于女性。现在我国女性人群中甲亢患病率约2%,并呈逐年增高的趋势。
