This paper discusses the concept and necessity of transfer facilities integration for urban rail transit,and taking Xi＇an metro as an example,elaborates planning process involved,including establishing the station classification system,defining the station transfer mode,calculating land size and fixing land boundary line for transfer facilities,planing land layout for transfer facilities and so on.Related suggestions for integrated transfer infrastructure of Xi＇an metro are put forward in the end.
