Analysis of a SGML-based Markup Language for Speech Synthesis

讨论了语音合成系统，在输入文档中加入注释标记的重要性和必要性；以及说明为了实现合成器之间的兼容，便于它们与其他系统集成，而制定一个统一的文本标记注释方案的重要性．在此基础上，着重分析和研究了一个基于ＳＧＭＬ的面向语音合成的标记语言ＳＳＭＬ（Ｓｐｅｅｃｈ Ｓｙｎｔｈｅｓｉｓ Ｍａｒｋｕｐ Ｌａｎｇｕａｇｅ）的标记设计，特别是实现韵律控制的标记设计等相关问题．

In this paper, we discuss the necessity and importance of markup language for text annotating in speech synthesis system firstly. A uniform annotating scheme is very useful for the compatibility of speech synthesizer and integration of them with other system. Then we focus a SGML-based orienting speech synthesis markup language SSML, analyse the mark design(specially the marks for the prosody control) and other relating Problems.
