Operation navigation equipment is of the first choice in many hospitals in recent years because this new technique integrates application of computer aided technology, irnaging and positioning technology. For its maintenance, we should have knowledge in software and hardware. In this paper, the authors introduced this system in its principle, software and hardware. Meanwhile, the key factors in its maintenance were described.
