摘要
本文探讨了教师教学用书的定义和基本功能,指出当前中学英语教师对教师用书的认识误区急需纠正,不同教学经验的教师都有使用教师用书的必要性;教师用书在教学的各个阶段对于教师在辅助课堂教学以及提高自身的教学水平两方面都发挥着作用;教师使用教师用书时应着眼于书中的全部内容及其编排。此外,笔者结合实例为教师正确认识和充分利用教师用书提出了具体建议和方法,在开始具体备课之前,要仔细研读“前言”部分;进入到具体备课阶段以后,重点研读“分单元教学建议”部分;完成一个单元的教学任务之后,可以参考“教学评价建议”,对学生的语言运用能力进行综合测量。拳文旨在引导教师有效利用教师用书,充分挖掘教师用书在辅助课堂教学和提升教师教学能力方面的重要作用。
This paper clarifies the definition and functions of the TEFL Teacher's Book, and points out that some common problems of understanding Teacher's Book need to be solved. Teacher's Book is necessary for English teachers with different extent of experience; it benefits the teachers in not only assisting their classroom teaching but also improving their teaching ability in every phase; all its parts and the layout offer useful information. Then it puts forward suggestions on how to use it effectively based on the analysis of sample contents from PEP English Teacher' s Book. Teachers are supposed to read the foreword carefully Before teaching preparation; They need to pay special attention to "suggested teaching notes for different units" during teaching preparation; the reference of the evaluation is necessary and integrated evaluation of students' language ability can be made after teaching. Its aim is to help teachers better understand and use the Teacher's Book, and to explore its role in facilitating classroom teaching and improving teaching ability.
