摘要
本文以概念隐喻理论和概念合成理论为依据,通过收集英汉疾病媒体报刊中的概念隐喻,对其中的表达方式做历时和共时的分析比较,发现疾病通常是战争、动物、自然现象、神秘实体等概念化的结果。在某种程度上,由于共同的体验基础,战争隐喻在两种语言中普及;以疾病为源域的隐喻泛化在社会生活中。由于中西方"天人合一"和"天人相分"哲学观的不同,英汉语疾病隐喻有各自倾向的源域。
On the basis of conceptual metaphor and conceptual blending theory, the metaphorical expressions in English and Chinese disease media discourses are collected and analyzed through comparison both synchronically and diachronically. It is found that diseases are usually conceptualized by war, animal, natural phenomena, mysterious entity, etc.. To some extent, due to common experiential basis, war metaphors are widely used in two languages; metaphors in which diseases are source domains also exist largely in social life. Due to different philosophies of ＂harmony between nature and human＂, ＂oppositions between nature and human＂ in two cultures, disease metaphors differ in source domains.
