This fall, a concert in Cornell University brought together 36 singers from three of the island countries in the Pacific Ocean-Kiribati, Tokelau, and Tuvalu. I attended this concert because I happened to be working on an article about sea level rise-and this concert will give me a perfect opportunity to get closer to these islanders who are threatened by sea level rise.
