摘要
好客是人类社会中连接主客关系的一种共通性表达。在当今世界中,好客表达有时候是非商业的,家庭成员或朋友之间便是如此;有时候则是商业性的。接待业-好客产业-包括餐饮、住宿等接待服务业,便是商业性好客形式在旅游工业中之体现。目前,接待业有逐渐融入非商业性交换成分来培育顾客忠诚的趋势;与此同时,原先非商业性的好客招待形式也在试图融入商业性因素以谋求利益。
Hospitality is the universal human relationship between hosts and guests. In the contemporary world, hospitality may be non-commercial, e. g. between family members or friends, or commercial. The hospitality industry is that part of the commercial tourism industry that deals with food, drink and accommodation. There is a tendency for the hospitality industry to emulate non- commercial aspects of the exchange in order to foster customer loyalty, and there is a tendency for non-commercial forms of hospitality to develop some profit making aspects.
