Analysing the Favorable External Conditions in India's Rise

在全球化、多极化进程中,印度的快速崛起,得益于地缘优势形成的区域支配地位、继承殖民遗产带来的机缘好处、在大国博弈中获取的"政治红利"、"金砖国家"创造的财富效应、国防实力铸就的军事后盾。印度的经验说明,一个国家的成功崛起,必须立足自身的条件,在复杂多变的国际条件下,将外部条件的优势转化为自身发展的动力。

In the process of globalization and multi-polarization, India is rising by leaps and bounds, which can largely be attributed to a regional dominant position taken shape by its geo-advantage; lucky chances given to it by inheriting the colonial legacies; political dividends produced by the rivalries between and among the big powers; the desired effects of wealth accumulation by the BRICS, and the military backing secured from its defense capabilities. India's experiences prove that a country's successful rise must be founded on its own conditions; it has to turn its favorable external conditions into good advantage for its own development under a volatile situation.
