RAPID social development and the need for man power in urban areas have prevailed upon manymen to leave their rural home-towns and

It conse-quently falls to many wives to labor in the field, raise children and take care of elder-ly parents as well as manage household affairs. Worst of all, they must subsist for extended periods without the companion- ship and support of their husbands.
