摘要
概念化是语言使用过程中的一种心智活动和识解操作,其过程是复杂的,而且从本质上讲是动态性的。概念化涉及一个民族认识外界事物的特点,不同语言有关概念化的方式各有不同。Langacker一直强调将概念化视为一个动态的过程。新词是指为适应社会发展的需要而产生的新词语,以及原有词语在新的文化环境下增添新意后形成的词语。本文运用概念化的动态性这一特性来研究英汉语中出现的新词语,此研究具有一定的理论意义,对英语及对外汉语教学和翻译等方面具有参考价值。
Conceptualization is a kind of mental activity and construal operation, the process of it is complicated and basically speaking it is dynamic. Different languages may employ different ways to conceptualization which involves a nation＇s understanding of the outside world. Langacker has always noted that conceptualization is a dynamic course. This research is to use the dynamic feature of conceptualizaion to study the Chinese and English new words, it is significant both theoretically and practically in English teaching and translation.
