The choice and compatibility of the strains and beddings in deep-litter systems is the primary issues of this ecological farming technology.The categories of strains and beddings suitable for the bed production,the fermentation characteristics of different strains,the parameter requirements of the bedding materials,and the fermentation process in the deep-litter systems were all analyzed and summarized,which was expected to provide the theoretical basis and practical guidance for the promotion of deep-litter systems in the nationwide.
