摘要 The Retrovirus Epidemiology Donor Study (REDS) was established in 1989 with funding from the National Heart,Lung,and Blood Institute ( NHLBI ) of the National Institutes of Health in the United States.The initial program coordinated activities in five large US blood centers in San Francisco,Los Angeles,Oklahoma City,Detroit,and Baltimore with a coordinating center Westat in Rockville MD.
