摘要
通过2个实验,考察听觉通道缺失和使用手语和对聋人时间空间隐喻的影响。实验1发现,聋人在动作水平上和视觉水平上都存在"左/过去,右/将来"的水平方向的时间空间隐喻:对表征过去的词或句子按左键反应和对表征将来的词或句子按右键反应的反应时更短;对表征过去的词或句子,呈现在左边错误率低,对表征将来的词或句子,呈现在右边错误率低。当材料呈现在右边时,出现呈现位置与反应方式的同侧优势效应。实验2发现,聋生无论在动作水平上还是在视觉水平上都不存在"上/过去,下/将来"的竖直方向的时间空间隐喻。整个研究表明,听觉通道缺失和使用手语并未影响聋生的时间的水平方向隐喻,却影响了时间的竖直方向隐喻的形成。
Tile study aims to explore the effect of the lack of the auditory channet and the use of sign lan-guage on the time-space metaphor in deaf students. According to Test I, the deaf students show a "left/past, right/future" time-space metaphor in actions and vision: They show a shorter time in their left-hand reaction to the words or sentences representing the past and in their right-hand reaction to the words or sentences representing the future; they show a lower rate of errors in their left-hand reaction to the words or sentences representing the past, and in their fight-hand reaction to the words or sentences representing the future; when the materials are presented on the right side, they show an ipsilateral advantage effect in their positions and reactions. According to Test II, the deaf students show no "left/past, fight/future" time-space metaphor in actions or vision. The results show that the lack of the auditory channel and the use of sign language have an effect not on the deaf students' time-based metaphor, but on the formation of vertical time-based metaphor.
