摘要
译者在翻译过程中的主观能动性发挥受制于自身所接受的教育、从事的职业、积累的翻译经验、翻译动机等因素,这些因素对其译文的呈现有直接或间接的影响。文章介绍了藏族翻译家斋林.旺多、汉族藏学家于道泉、美国学者G.W.Houston的相关背景,分析了他们的三部《仓央嘉措诗歌》英译本各自的特点,旨在发现三位译者对同一作品的不同呈现方式,并探究其原因。
In the process of translating,translators are affected directly or indirectly by the factors like their educational background,profession,translation experience,intentions and so on.This article firstly introduces three scholars,namely W.Tailing,a Tibetan translator,Yu Daoquan,a Chinese Tibetologist,G.W.Houston,an American professor,in some detail.Then,it analyzes the characteristics of their English translations of Tsangyang Gyatso ＇s Poems respectively.It aims to find out the causes of their different choices in translating a same source text.
