摘要
聚焦于《老人与海》一书中文化词汇的翻译,尝试从认知层面对张译本和吴译本《老人与海》中的译例进行评析,从而探讨两种译本的差别与得失,最大限度地理解和传递原文文化信息的翻译策略。对于文学作品中易导致认知空缺的文化词汇的处理,比较成功的方式是灵活运用音译加注、直译加注、移植加注或者音义结合加注的异化翻译策略。这种异化加注的处理方式虽然构成阅读障碍,但满足了读者的认知需求,因而是值得的。
Applying the cognitive semantics theory to the comparing study of the translation of the cultural words in the Chinese versions of The Old Man and the Sea by Zhang Ailing and Wu lao and exploring translation strategies that help to maximally understand and transfer the cultural information borne, that is, foreignizing method with an-notation. This method is reasonable and worthwhile because it helps to satisfy readers' cognitive needs.
