道光朝总督数量辨析——兼及任期

Analysis of the Number of Governors During Daoguang Reign in Qing Dynasty——Also Analyzing their terms of Service

台湾学者魏秀梅《从量的观察探讨清季督抚的人事嬗递》一文对从嘉庆以迄光绪的各朝督抚数量作了精细的考察,其结论广为学术界所引用。然而经重新统计,其中道光朝总督人数应为51人,并非魏秀梅所论43人。因之,总督任期也有所不同。

The number of inspectors from Jiaqing Reign to Guangxu Reign in Qing Dynasty is investigated carefully in Discussion of personnel changes of inspectors in Qing Dynasty from the quantity observation, an article written by Taiwan scholar, Wei Xiumei. The findings are widely cited by academic circles. However the new statistics shows that the number of governors should be 51 during Daoguang Reign, but not 43 people investigated by Wei Xiumei. As a result, the governors＇ terms of service are also different.
