摘要
《雨中猫》是海明威成功运用叙事视角转换、重复叙述、叙事中的隐喻和"冰山"理论创作的一部短篇小说。本文通过分析其3个方面的叙事技巧,达到让读者从貌似简单的故事情节中体会男女主人公纷繁复杂的心理活动和扣人心弦的思想交锋,从而挖掘出叙事中的潜藏文本和深层主题。
Cat in the Rain is one of the famous short stories written by Ernest Hemingway, who successfully made full use of the follow- ing narrative strategies ： changing point of view; narrative frequency ; metaphors in narration and ＇ iceberg＇ theory in it. The aim of this paper is to make readers comprehend characters＇ complicated psychological activities and breathtaking conscious contest from such simple story.
