饮食是人类摄取营养物质的重要方式,是供给机体营养物质的源泉,是维持人体生长、发育,完成各项生理功能,保证生命活动不可缺少的必要条件。中医食疗作为自然疗法之一,在日常生活和临床的应用中越来越显示出其明显的优势。以糖尿病为例,进一步探讨了饮食与疾病的关系。

The diet is the important way of the human body intaking nutrients, the source supplying organism nutrition materials, and the indispensable and necessary conditions maintaining the human growth and development, achieving the physiological function and ensuring life activities. The dietotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） is one of the natural therapies,increasingly shows its obvious advantages in daily life and clinical applications. The relationships be- tween diets and diseases were further discussed by using the example of diabetes.
