Economic Globalization and Our Strategies

本文对经济全球化的历史根源和进程、理论研究依据等进行了分析和研究 ,指出 :当今所谓经济全球化实质上就是资本主义经济全球化 ,其推动力量是自由化、私有化和放松经济管制 ;经济全球化是回避不了的 ,对发展中国家的经济发展有利有弊 ;我国必须积极地参与到这一进程中去 ,调整出口结构 ,引进外资 ,有序地开放金融市场 。

This article attempts to discuss historical causes and process of economic globalization, and theoretical support of studies on this issue as well. The author maintains that the so called economic globalization is in fact globalization of capitalist economy. The incentives for it lie in liberalism, privatization and a loose economic control. Economic globalization represents the natural trend of development of world economy, exerting both beneficial and harmful effects on developing countries. To benefit from this trend China should maintain active participation by adjusting the export structure, inviting foreign investment, opening the financial market,and pay special attention to cultivation of personnel of high quality.
