This is a semantic approach to Plato's ontological structure in Phaedo. The author not only confirms the Self-Predication Assumption included in the Third Man Argument, but also shows the confusion between describing and naming, meaning and reference, proper name and general name in plato's theory of Forms, finally,we get a clear idea of the inner relationship among the three meaning of being—identity, having and copula in Plato.
