摘要
庞德的《诗章》是一部晦涩难懂的现代诗,学界已有许多著作从不同的方面研究它。关于《诗章》是否有统一的结构,学界中一直存在争议。本文在参阅众多研究成果的基础上,对这部诗歌结构的研究进行分析。文中追索《诗章》的形成过程,对《诗章》的谋篇布局以及写作提出看法,就《诗章》的结构统一性的不同观点进行分析,最后提出无论《诗章》是否有统一结构都不失为一部重要的现代诗。
The Cantos by Ezra Pound is a difficult and ambiguous modern poem, which has aroused many studies in different perspectives. It has been a controversial issue for a long time on whether there is a unified structure in The Cantos or not. This article, based on many studies about the issue, presents an analysis of The Cantos＇ structure. It traces back the forming process of The Cantos, and explores Pound＇ s ways of constructing The Cantos. Meanwhile it presents a review of different ideas on the structure in The Cantos. It concludes that The Cantos is a very im- portant modern poem, no matter whether there is a unified structure in it or not.
