世俗人生经验的智性表达——《圣经·箴言》与《增广贤文》之比较

The Rational Expression of Secular Life Experience——A Comparison between Proverbs in the Holly Bible and The Wisdom of Ancient Aphorisms

从现实的角度看,《圣经》中的《箴言》与我国民间流传的《增广贤文》都是世俗性因素极为显著的"智慧性"文本。由于文化背景的不同,《箴言》可以收入"旧约"《圣经》作为经典流传下来,说明希伯来民族乃至整个西方世界都有着较高的关注世俗生活的热情;而《增广贤文》这种日常生活训诫类书的主导价值取向虽是儒家思想,但却长期流传于民间而不能登大雅之堂。通过对二者的比照,我们可以得到多方面的启示,特别是两书对于世俗生活的热情关注和世俗生活原则的训诫教诲,值得我们认真思考和研究。

The Proverbs in the Holly Bible and The Wisdom of Ancient Aphorisms both are secularly prominent and rational texts.As a result of different cultural backgrounds,The Proverbs can become part of the Holly Bible and pass down from one generation to another,which shows that Hebrew,even the whole western world,are quite enthusiastic about secular lives.However,The Wisdom of Ancient Aphorisms,a work of sermons,has never been accepted by the dominant Chinese culture although it focus on Confucianism and popular among the populace.By the comparison between the two works,we can get a lot of enlightenment in many respects.Especially,the sermons about the secular lives and secular life principles in the two books are worth thinking about and studying.
