Service Innovation Capability of Incubators and Venture Capital for New Ventures

本文探讨了孵化器的服务创新能力对于企业风险资本获得的影响机制,重点讨论了孵化器的网络联系、综合服务能力和政府背景对于企业风险资本获得的影响;并通过我国国家级科技企业孵化器数据进行了实证检验。研究结果包括:目前孵化器的政府背景仍是左右风险资本投资的关键要素,孵化器的网络化发展模式对于吸引风险资本投资的重要性正在逐渐显现,目前孵化器的主要运营模式仍以物业服务和场地租金为主,商业服务水平还较低,在一定程度上制约了企业获得风险资本。

This study examines the effects of service innovation capability in incubators on venture capital for new ventures and emphasizes the factors of network, business support and government-related. This study tests the hypotheses in a sample of business incubators in China. The findings highlight the role of network and government-related of Chinese incubators as an important service innovation capabilities for new ventures to obtain venture capital. Also, the empirical evidence indicates that the influence of business support of incubators is insignificant for new ventures to obtain venture capitals.
