董建华先生及香港董氏集团助教舟山航海教育渊源深厚。早在1990年，董建华初次访问舟山，就资助舟山市政府建立舟山航海学校。此后，从扩充校舍、添置先进设备、建立航海教育咨询会，到吸收毕业生上船服务等。董氏集团对舟山航海教育的资助源源不断。浙江国际海运职业技术学院自筹建并正式建院以来，董建华带着家人两次来到学校，勉励学校领导和师生，要继续努力，争取把学校办得更好。在各级领导、社会各界、董建华先生及董氏集团的关心支持下，浙江国际海运职业技术学院已成功步入了以培养海洋经济人才为主的普通高等职业学校的规范化运行轨道，并迅速成长为我省乃至国内一流的海员人才培育基地。

It has a long history that Mr Dong Jianhua and Hong Kong Dong＇s Group assist Zhoushan marine education. Dong Jianhua funded to establish Zhoushan Navigation School when he visited Zhoushan for the first time in 1990. Since then, from the construction of teaching buildings, purchasing more advanced teaching equipments, establishing Marine Education Seminar to providing positions for graduates, etc., Dong＇s Group had been keeping helping a lot. After Zhejiang International Maritime College established, Mr. Dong came to encourage the college＇s leaders, teachers and students to do better with his families. With the concern and support of government,different sectors of the society, Mr Dong Jianhua and the Dongls Group, Zhejiang International Maritime College has successfully stepped into the higher vocational school standardization orbit to cultivate talents for marine economic development and has become one of the first-class seafarers training base in China.
