Development of Mineral Resources in Bashu Region and Its Communication with Surrounding Areas from Pre-Qin to Northern and Southern Dynasties

先秦到魏晋南北朝时期,巴蜀地区的矿产资源得到了大规模的开发,有政府组织、有私人经营,越到后期,矿产资源的开采规模越大,开采的地域范围越来越广,经历了从巴蜀内部地区到巴蜀周边地区的开发趋势,随着巴蜀与周边特别是中原地区手工业技术交流的发展,巴蜀矿产资源开发愈益深入。这一时期巴蜀矿产资源开发集中在铜、铁、金、银、丹等主要矿种里,这些与当时日常生活密切相关的矿产资源开发出来的直接结果便是促进了当时巴蜀手工业的发展,而巴蜀的矿产资源制品流入周边地区,进一步加深了巴蜀与周边地区的交流,随着交流的深入,巴蜀的矿产资源制品又因为更加广阔的市场而加速了巴蜀地区矿产资源的开发。

Mineral resources in Bashu region were developed on a large scale from the Pre-qin Dynasty to the Northern and Southern Dynasties.In some regions,the development activities were organized by the government,and some mining spots were privately run.Later,the development was further expanded and the mining areas were also extended from the internal part of Bashu to its border areas.With an increasing communication in craftsmanship between people in Bashu and central China,Bashu witnessed further development in its mineral resources.During this period,the mineral products were mainly copper,iron,gold,silver,cinnabar,and so forth.These mineral products,closely relating to the daily life of the then people,contributed to further development of the handicraft industry in Bashu region.Its communication with the surrounding areas was deepened with its products spreading to those parts,which,in turn,accelerated the development of the mineral resources in Bashu region by providing an even broader market.
