长江路桥(隧)漫谈

On Bridges(Tunnel) over(under) the Yangtze River

摘要 长江干流上的长江大桥促进了长江的经济发展,是中国南北公路和铁路便捷的大通道的咽喉,在促进陆路交通发展的同时,桥梁限制了驶向武汉、重庆的大型船舶的高度和吨位,无形中阻碍了长江水运的发展,也限制了东西向长江的水运能力。而长江隧道就可以克服这种弊端,不会阻碍水运的畅通,而陆路高铁发展也在改变水陆发展的格局。到了今天经济高速发展的今天,长江大桥桥隧建设需要综合考虑陆路和水路的协调发展。 The bridges over the Yangtze River,as a key link between the north and south highways and railways of China,have promoted the economic growth and development of the River itself.While pushing forward the development of regional transportation,they have also constrained the height and loading capacity of huge ships heading for Wuhan and Chongqing.Consequently,the bridges may hinder the growth of the shipping industry and limit the east-west river transportation capacity.A tunnel can be dug to solve these problems,without affecting shipping industry in the Yangtze River.Meanwhile,with the development of high-speed railways,the water and land transportations are also improving.With rapid economic growth,it is necessary to seek a balanced development in land and water transportations when constructing a Yangtze River Tunnel.
