One thousand povertystricken mothers in Wuxiang County, in Changzhi, in North China＇s Shanxi Province, recently received a combined 5,000 postal parcels filled with daily necessities. Organizers had collected parcels - each of which contained 100 yuan （US $15） or 200 yuan （US S31） worth of daily necessities - for the impoverished mothers.
