摘要FTO基因与2型糖尿病等疾病密切相关,与其他基因发挥协同作用。全基因组关联分析使得FTO(fat mass and obesity associated)基因成为第一个普通人群肥胖候选基因,其在下丘脑核丰富表达,参与能量平衡的控制。FTO基因是2型糖尿病的易感基因,FTO基因变异与肥胖和糖尿病的发病风险相关联。
