本文从人文地理学的维度考察吴文化,认为对于吴文化的考察,应该有一种整体性和过程性的眼光。泰伯开吴,从陕西即黄河流域的中上游出发,来到长江中下游的太湖流域,即在中华民族黄河长江的土地上走了一条对角线。这条对角线对中华民族共同体的形成和发展具有本质性的重要性,打开地图从陕西岐山一直划到了长江的太湖,牵动了中华民族共同体的生命线。华夏文明、炎黄文化是发源于西北,对角线的效应,使其发达于东南,从而使得中华民族的政治、经济、文化产生良性的互动互补,在承受各种强烈的挑战和震撼中,不断开创新局面,中华民族由此赢得了巨大的发展空间。

This essay investigates Wu Culture from the dimension of Humanistic Geography,and takes the view that there should be a kind of integral and procedural perspective.Tai Bo opened up Wu,from Shaanxi,middle-upper reaches of the Yellow River basin,to Taihu Lake basin,middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River,which was,namely,he drew out a kind of diagonal line along the Yellow、Yangtze River across the vast land of Chinese nation.This diagonal line is of essential importance to the formation and development of Chinese national community,from Shaanxi Qishan to Taihu Lake basin of Yangtze River is the Chinese community's lifeline.Due to the diagonal effect,the Chinese civilization and Yanhuang culture which originated in the northwest,developed in southeast,thus the Chinese nation's politics,economics and culture achieved benign interaction and complementarity.So,although faced with various intense challenges and shocks,the Chinese nation still win a huge development space and can continuously create new situations.
