An Analysis of Blanket Range Adverbs in The Story of the Hero and the Sisters

《儿女英雄传》中新旧总括范围副词同时存在,但旧的使用频率偏低,而新兴的"都"、"全"等已经占主要地位,其发展趋于成熟,已经十分接近现代汉语的用法。另外,中古以来新产生的总括范围副词都是双音词,这是适应汉语词汇双音化的趋势所致。

The old and new blanket range adverbs are used in The Story of the Hero and the Sisters.However,the usage of the old range adverbs is in a low frequency,the usage of the new range adverbs like ＂Dou＂,＂Quan＂ and more have taken the predominant place and become mature gradually which is very close to the modern Chinese usage.In addition,in order to keep with the Chinese vocabulary double syllable change,the new blanket range adverbs have been double-syllable words since the Middle Ages.
