Effects of Charged Particles on Microwave Propagation in Sandstorms

摘要 根据Rayleigh近似下带电球形粒子的前向散射振幅函数,给出了指数分布模型下的带电沙尘粒子引起微波的衰减和相移计算模型,并对其正确性经行了检验。仿真结果表明,带电沙粒比不带电沙粒对微波信号衰减的影响明显增大,带电沙粒所带表面电荷越集中,对微波的衰减影响越大,且衰减随能见度的增大而减小;电磁波频率、沙尘的含水量及所带电荷的荷质比对衰减和相移影响明显。 According to the forward scattering amplitude function under the Rayleigh approximation, the calcu-lation model of microwave attenuation and phase shift induced by the charged sand is got based on. The correctness of the obtained results is tested. From the simulation results, it is shown that the attenuation evidently increases with the charged sand particles to microwave signal, the more charge collection on surface of the charged sand parti-cles, the more influence to the attenuation of microwave. And the attenuation evidently decreases with the visibility of sand particles increasing. The frequency, moisture content and charge-to-mass ratio have obvious effects on mi-crowave propagation.
