Transforming and Upgrading of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan’s Processing Trade Enterprises:Strategies and Suggestions

当前,促进港澳台商投资加工贸易企业转型主要涵盖此类企业的主体、对象、方式和加工区域的转型,籍此推进工业产业链、产业和产业集群的升级等内容。政府部门要完善审批制度,制定优惠政策,提高审批效率,大力推进中西部地区加工贸易发展,促进发展的区域平衡,加快加工贸易企业的转型速度,并搭建好加工贸易企业服务平台。

Promoting transformation of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan＇ s processing trade enterprises, for now, involves transforming of these enterprises＇ subjects, objects, methods and working regions. This will thereby enable upgrading of their industry chains, industries and/or industrial clusters. It is suggested that the government departments should perfect the construction of examination and approval systems, formulate preferential policies, improve processing efficiency, vigorously develop processing trade in central and western regions, and quicken transformation of processing trade enterprises, and build service platforms for them. The enterprises themselves however should actively take measures to upgrade their processing trade.
