ASEAN＇s strategy of balancing great powers means seeking the balance of influence among great powers as a ＂Balancer＂. Practices had shown that the strategy of balancing great powers promoted by ASEAN is successful and made ASEAN seize the position of ＂an important player＂ in the tendency of multi-polarity. However, as the international situation transforming, this strategy also confronts new challenges. Besides, the strategy of balancing great powers deserves China＇ s attention.
