Elder People's Spiritual Phenomena:Through a Philosophical Perspective

借助精神现象学相关理论,考察当下中国老年人群体可以发现,经历了剧烈社会转型的这一群体有着独特而复杂的精神特征与心理体验,主要表现为对生命意义的惶惑、对死亡临近的恐惧、应对心理情绪的调适危机等。从哲学视角解读老年人主体性的衰落、实践性的被遮蔽、社会性的沉寂以及历史性的消解等精神现象,研究由此产生的失落感、冷漠感、孤独感与保守性等心理情绪,有利于理解老年人的行为方式与真实需求,有助于深层次探索老年人的精神世界。

The present elder people in China are studied here in light of Phenomenology of Spirit,the findings show that after having come through severe social transformations the population has unique and complicated mental characteristics and psychological experience,referring to their confusion about the meaning of life,fear of the approaching death and trouble in regulating their emotions.Philosophic concepts are used to study the population＇s spiritual phenomenon including the decline of their principal role,the neglect of their practice,their dreariness in the society and their disappearing from history,as well as to analyse their corresponding psychological emotions such as senses of loss,of coldness,of loneliness and conservative inclination.In this way,the population＇s behavior and true needs will be better understood,and their spiritual world will be further explored.
